Connecting with Trees is a multi-day K–2 curriculum from Trees for Honolulu’s Future that helps young children build a relationship with trees through songs, sensory observation, gratitude activities, recycled-art projects, Hawaiian vocabulary, and drawing. The lessons combine classroom and outdoor experiences and encourage students to notice what trees do for people and how people can care for trees in return.
